Here’s the lowdown…

The idea is simple: by the end of the season, you’ve done the hard work. The miles are in your legs, your fitness is probably as good as it’s going to get this year, and now it’s time to enjoy it.

But what does an enjoyable 100k actually look like?

It certainly isn’t 100 kilometres of pan-flat boredom. But it shouldn’t mean chewing the handlebars as you grind up every steep hill we could squeeze onto the route, either.

The sweet spot lies somewhere in between, like this:

A route that flows. We’ve kept junctions to a minimum, chosen roads that let you settle into your rhythm and added just enough climbing to keep things interesting—without a single leg-breaker that leaves you weeping into your stem and wishing you’d stayed in bed.

And just as you’re ready for a pause, you’ll roll into somewhere familiar.

Those who joined us for the critically acclaimed Spring Forward ride will recognise Hanbury, where our 2026 adventure began. This time though, it’s your feed stop: a chance to refuel, regroup and get ready for what comes next.

Because the second half is where the ride really starts to open up.

There’s a little more climbing than in the first half, but nothing to trouble those beautifully tanned, end-of-season legs. You’ll still have plenty in the tank, the miles will be sliding beneath your wheels and the finish will begin to feel tantalisingly close.

And by then, you won’t be thinking about surviving the final kilometres.

You’ve probably found a little peloton of like minded folk and you’ll all be getting out of the saddle, leaning into the rises and pushing each other to  keep the pace going all the way home.
