Back in 2018 I got my first gravel bike and started to dabble a little with gravel riding, exploring the different places you can get to on 2 wheels without having to resort to a mountain bike.
If you’ve got a cyclocross bike, or just a winter steed with enough room for a more robust tyre (I’m running a Specialized Trigger Pro 33mm 2Bliss) then this ride would be a good intro to some of the routes you can find around Cannock Chase and it’s surrounds.
While the route begins and ends with a bit of Cannock Chase I’ve tried to avoid too much of the obvious routes you can do in that space and offer up some bits you might not have discovered yet.
